We’re always looking for suitable volunteers to join our dedicated team to assist in the smooth running of the group and local supported events.
So if you are already a licensed radio amateur, or studying to become one, and can volunteer a few hours each month, you may be just the person we’re looking for. You need to be willing to work as part of a team that uses standard operating procedures, but also to be able to act on your own initiative when required. We ask for a small annual donation to cover the cost of membership of national RAYNET and member’s insurance.
In return, we provide training and mentoring in the basic skills you’ll need, in our friendly and supportive group, and you’ll be appropriately insured while engaged in group activities.
